Being a doctor did you suffer life threatening illness?

BEING A DOCTOR DID YOU SUFFER ANY LIFE THREATENING

Yes, this was happened to me in 2009, I was undergone my process of moving to England for good, yes I have planned to move to London. What happened, I was pregnant 3rd time, before that in 2004’ I had a miscarriage, after 6 years of my marriage, that was the first time that I got pregnant, It was a mental shock, and I was the victim this time, but I was a brave woman, and I peacefully went through all these conditions.
In 2006 I was pregnant again and I was successfully gave birth to a healthy baby in London.
In April 2009, I got pregnant again, and the condition was not very satisfactory, I asked my Doctor, Please have a check on my hormones, but after one month I have started bleeding and my Doctor said it’s all gone your Uterine cavity is empty, but something was wrong, my body kept telling me, then I booked my ticket to England and I moved here. My husband took me to a shopping mall and to the walking street, to buy some groceries and he was very happy that we were there.
Weather was to good, walking street was full of street vendors, every thing was full of life, but I was the only one on the street , had shortness of breath, restlessness and uneasiness. I had tried my best to pull up myself, and failed. I requested my husband to take me to surgery. He took me to nearby surgery where I was registered, the doctor took my urine test and send me to the Hospital, I reached there and the consultant told me to go for an Ultrasound, during my scan, the consultant asked me saying, I am so sorry!! I said for what? She said I think some thing went wrong you have two pregnancies in your tummy but not in your womb, both were as the size of the Grape fruit.
She further added we will go for a laparoscopic operation and if we find it hard then it will become an open abdominal surgery, electric cautery, curettage etc.
She gave me some IV anaesthetic and I remembered I counted up-to three and it was a feeling like some thing warm introduced to me. The doctor was amazed that I was painless, she told me it was a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and she described it, one sac was over my left ovary and it was ruptured but the other pregnancy was attached to the outer posterior wall of the Uterus, and my whole tummy was a mess, same like after any bomb blast. My pelvic floor, and abdominal cavity was all messed up.
I had been given 3points of blood to safe my life, and it took 5 hours to complete the whole surgery and clean up.
In the OT my daughter came to say bye mama. I was not afraid or worried, but when she said; “Mama I can’t Live without you” and she was only 3yrs old. I was like Oh my God I Could have Died too. Because this was the life threatening illness. At that time a brave woman like me was cried for the first time.
After surgery, it’s like I was in hell, numbness, pain, movement less. I lay down straight without changing sides for up to 7 days, I lose weight to 48kg, but I was Alive, I defeated the death that time or that was not my time to go!!!!
